Xitlaly (Laly) is from Shoshone, Idaho. She went to Shoshone Schools K-12 and graduated in the year 2018. She grew up in all types of doctor's offices because she was born with Cleft Lip and Palate. Her love for Dentistry started when she was only 5 years old. She would ask her Pediatric Dentist and Orthodontist about advice and wonder if she was cut out for the dentistry world. She decided that she would try out nursing at her nearby nursing home doing activities to see if she could work with people from different backgrounds and her patients told her to follow her dreams. She decided that “regular” college was not for her, so she ended up going to Assist to Succeed in Boise. Ultimately earning her Dental Assisting and Expanded Functions certificate amidst the pandemic. In her spare time she enjoys spending time on her family's small farm.
